Built in 1900 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, State Savings Bank has over 14,000 square feet of flexible floor space.
State Savings Bank, built in 1900, is designated a Michigan State Historic Site and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by internationally renowned architects McKim, Mead & White, this neoclassical structure is in the Beaux Arts-style. It features a white marble interior with carved Roman arched colonnades and bronze grillwork.
The front section of the space can accommodate up to 130 guests for a seated event and up to 250 guests for a strolling reception. The back section of the space can accommodate up to 500 guests for a seated event and up to 600 guests for a strolling reception.
The original bank vault centers the room and the restored gilded ceiling provides a stunning architectural element to any event.
